Technical Guidance (Bimtek) and Research and Development Conference (Muslitbang) organized by Belantara Ampuh Indonesia, at the Patenggang Cimanggu Resort, Ciwidey District, Bandung Regency, Saturday (17/9/2022).
The event was attended by the Head of the West Java Forestry Service represented by the Forest Ecosystem Controller Functional Officer Yudi Kurniawan, the Head of the West Java BKSDA represented by the Staff of the BKSDA Region III, the General Chairperson of the BPN Indonesian Social Forestry Management Association (AP2SI) Roni Usman Kusmana, the Chairperson of the West Java AP2SI, and Members of Belantara Ampuh Indonesia.
In this case, the West Java Forestry Service through Yudi Kurniawan, Ecosystem Control Functional Officer Forest, who was also a speaker in the Technical Guidance, said that we from the Service really appreciate the Belantara Ampuh Indonesia conservation institution for being able to protect the forest.
"The most important thing is to be able to maintain the sustainability of nature, protect nature by improving the economy of communities around the forest so that the community's economy will increase by itself and the ecosystem will also improve," said Yudi.
Our hope is that Ampuh's existence will continue to protect the forest area through counseling and knowledge and can collaborate with the Service, because of how important it is to protect the forest, explained Yudi.
The General Chairperson of BPN AP2SI said, "The Bimtek activity organized by Ampuh is extraordinary, because this is truly a new movement in a forest management system that is sustainable and economically promising," said Roni.
In the same place, the General Chairperson of Belantara Ampuh Indonesia DR. Malau, SH., MH said, "Through this technical guidance held for all Ampuh members where the community's desire to manage forests but the rules of the game have not been clear so far, but with the existence of SK 287 / MENLHK / SETJEN / PLA.2 / 4/2022 Concerning the Determination of Forest Areas with Special Management, so that it will provide the community with the right to manage the surrounding forests," said Malau.
"We from the Ampuh Forest Protection Institute will always assist the government in carrying out activities to prevent forest damage and carry out forest rehabilitation throughout West Java," concluded the General Chairperson of Ampuh.
