Jakarta, My news- The West Java Social Forestry Management Association (AP2SI) held a gathering and audience with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) regarding the Management of Forest Areas with Special Management in West Java for Social Forestry Groups that have received a Decree and have not received a Decree on Management Rights.
"We are conducting this gathering and audience to encourage follow-up from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry regarding asset management and governance boundaries in the management areas of Social Forestry groups that already have a decree or have not received a decree, be it LPD, KTH, LPHD, HKM or Gapoktanhut," said Dedi Junaedi, Chair of AP2SI West Java. In addition, Dedi continued, there are still housing and settlements in forest areas that have not received legal certainty.
"Actually, Housing and Settlements in the area are already on the desk of the Minister of Environment and Forestry, only the status is decided by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, such as Mekarwangi, Sindangkerta, West Bandung Regency, and Mekargalih Village, Cikalongkulon District, Cianjur Regency," he added.
At the audience and gathering, the KLHK, represented by the Director General of PSKL Bambang Supriyanto, stated that they would schedule the acceleration of resolving the problems faced by AP2SI West Java.***
