Saung Belajar as a forum for forest farmer groups was inaugurated by the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) represented by the Director of Social Forestry Business Development, Catur Endah Prasetiani.<\/p>\n
The inauguration of Saung Belajar is the final program of the Askara Nusantara program which was initiated by Kitabisa in collaboration with the Indonesian Social Forestry Management Association (AP2SI).<\/p>\n
In the Askara Nusantara program there are also outreach activities, planting multi-purpose trees and ongoing assistance to KTH Reksawana located in Sukapura Village, Kertasari District, Bandung Regency.<\/p>\n
Through Social Forestry, the government has provided economic opportunities to the community, which can increase forest production, as well as community welfare, not only opportunities for investment but also for funding.<\/p>\n
To support the success of Social Forestry, the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry, together with related parties and partners, will work together to provide community assistance, as well as support investment and facilitate the marketing of Social Forestry businesses.<\/p>\n
The Director of Social Forestry Business Development at the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Catur Endah Prasetiani, appreciated the program.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is the first KTH that is fastest in moving. Even though it has only been 6 months since the Social Forestry Decree was issued. "Hopefully it can continue to be developed so that the spirit of Social Forestry, Sustainable Forests, Rayat Sejahtera can be achieved," said Catur, in his written statement, Thursday (14\/3).<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, VP Kitabisa Edo Irfandi was grateful for the launch of the Askara Nusantara program, which ended with the completion of the planting and Learning Saung program at KTH Reksawana.<\/p>\n
In the future, Saung Belajar will be managed by the Reksawana Forest Farmers Group (KTH) Management and will be a place for monitoring and mentoring programs that will be implemented over the next two years.<\/p>\n
"Delivering the mandate to carry out efforts to restore and activate Social Forestry so that ecological and economic benefits can be achieved which can bring benefits to the community around here," said Edo.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the Askara Nusantara Program Manager, Muhammad Nur Afif, emphasized that his party had prepared a monitoring mechanism for KTH members so that this program could continue to be sustainable and have a welfare impact on the community.<\/p>\n
"God willing, this will not be interrupted today, as a sustainable program we have prepared a monitoring mechanism that will enable KTH members here to achieve success in managing Social Forestry here. "Long live goodness, sustainable forests," stressed Afif.<\/p>\n
