This Technical Guidance (Bimtek) was attended by 27 participants who were representatives of 7 Social Forestry Groups (KPS) ranging from the Mulya Tani 1 to Mulya Tani 7 farmer groups. This event was a multi-party collaboration and was attended by important officials, from representatives from the Bogor Social Forestry Center (West Java - Banten), the Forestry Service Branch (CDK) Region V (Bandung-Garut), the National Management Board of the Indonesian Social Forestry Management Association (BPN AP2SI), the Youth Farmers (PETA) companions, and the Head of Sukarame Village was also present.

The Head of BPP AP2SI JABAR explained that this technical guidance has high significance in strengthening the capacity of the management group institutions.

“"The preparation of the Social Forestry Management Plan (RKPS) and the Annual Management Plan (RKT) is one of the keys to the success of social forestry implementation. Through this technical guidance, we want to ensure that the seven Social Forestry groups, specifically KTH Mulyatani 1 to 7, have work guidelines that are accountable, measurable, and in accordance with environmental principles, so that they can also maximize the benefits of the economic and ecological potential in the areas managed by these seven farmer groups," said Dedi Junaedi.

This activity aims specifically to improve participants' understanding and abilities in preparing social forestry management plans (RKPS) and annual management plans (RKT) in accordance with existing procedural standards but still being adaptive to field dynamics.

The training was conducted in an intensive and interactive manner, with technical materials delivered by expert speakers from the Bogor Social Forestry Center. Participants were encouraged to identify the potential, challenges, and targets for forest area utilization within the RKPS and RKT frameworks.

The presence of representatives from the Bogor PS Center and CDK Region V also strengthened the legitimacy and government support for the results of this Technical Guidance, ensuring the smooth running of the assistance and validation process for long-term and short-term forest area management plan documents.

BPP AP2SI JABAR is committed to continuing to assist its KPS members, ensuring that the Social Forestry Management Plan documents that have been prepared can be optimally implemented in the field, in order to realize the welfare of communities around the forest and environmental sustainability.
